Even now, while facing his own battle with stage 4 colon cancer, he shows up — not just for himself, but for others. His resilience isn’t just inspiring; it is a living testament to what service looks like long after the military ends.

My grandfather Frank represents another era of sacrifice and patriotism. Though I may not know every detail of his military journey, I carry immense pride in his service and in the foundation he laid for our family. His legacy is one of honor, quiet dignity, and unwavering commitment to family and country.
